St. Patrick's Day, the Pregnant Way

We had a really fun afternoon. Scott wanted to go check out Mac McGee, a fairly new Irish pub in Decatur in case Baby Girl is born early and we don't get to celebrate St. Patrick's Day next week. You might think it's cruel to drag an almost 9 1/2 months pregnant woman to an Irish pub around St. Patrick's Day, but there was plenty to keep me entertained, including delicious fish and chips, an Irish musician and even a bagpiper! There were also quite a few kids and babies in there (probably because it was the middle of the day) so I didn't feel so weird sitting in a bar with my giant belly.

Here's a picture of Scott enjoying a perfectly poured Guinness and fish and chips. We came home afterwards and took an embarrassingly long nap. I blame being almost 9 1/2 months pregnant. Scott blames the Guinness in the middle of the day!

Glad you're both taking embarrassingly long naps now because that will rarely happen after the baby comes. Occasionally you get that pleasure when she settles into a 2-3 hour nap during the day but it won't be for a while. Glad you got to do that! Can't wait till baby girl Hartman gets here!
