Shelby had a little program and awards day at school on Friday. I CANNOT believe this year is already over and we have a kindergartener! She did great transitioning to elementary school and I am so proud of her.
Mother's Day
I had a great Mother's Day! First, I got to sleep in while Shelby and Scott got me donuts and coffee. That afternoon we went to brunch in Decatur at my favorite spot - Wahoo Grill. I spent the afternoon getting a pedicure and relaxing and then we went back to Decatur that evening for ice cream. It was a perfect day.
Spring Evening
I love spring evenings in our backyard! We have a very small window of time to enjoy it before the mosquitos get too bad.
Tucker Day
After our soccer game we headed to Main Street for Tucker Day. Shelby had so much fun spending the day with her little pals and they of course had to do everything!

Spring Pictures
These are Shelby's spring pictures ... aren't they funny? We forgot it was picture day...I have no idea how those Halloween cat ears ended up in her book bag and on her head for the actual photos!!
Derby Day
Scott and I recently had a fun adult's afternoon with some old friends. We went to H Harper Station in Reynoldstown to watch the Kentucky Derby. It was a beautiful day to sit on the patio and drink mint juleps!

Girl's Trip
Carrie, Julie and I recently had a little mom's getaway to 30A. It was awesome! I love being with friends who want to do the same things I do... sit on the beach from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m! It was nice to relax and have some kid-free time, eat at nice restaurants and talk.
Dogwood Festival
Spring in Atlanta means nice weather and a trip to the Dogwood Festival at Piedmont Park. We had a picnic lunch in our yard before heading down there. Then afterwards we met our friends the Whites at a restaurant next to the park for dinner. A perfect spring day!
Dentist
Shelby did great on her most recent trip to the dentist. She said she wanted to come back the next week! I think she just liked the prize box the best.
