A couple more pictures of the snow and ice. It was pretty and we got to enjoy it without any of the headaches like downed trees and power outages. We were lucky!
Snow Days Part Two
Snow and ice strikes again! We have been out of work and school for three days now due to an ice storm and are hoping to return tomorrow. This time, the storm was more of the freezing rain and sleet variety, and by Wednesday night everything was covered in ice. It snowed on top of that overnight and we were treated to a blanket of snow this morning. Perfect for playing in for a little while before the sun came out and it began to melt.
Keeping busy inside! We dug out an unopened gingerbread kit we received for Christmas and decorated some winter gingerbread men!
A crystal wonderland on Wednesday night.
We had a good blanket of snow and gently falling flakes when we woke up on Thursday so we took a snowy walk.
Our street... everything's quiet.
The sun finally came out and we had some snowy adventures at the pool playground. It was quickly turning into slush by then.
Warmer Days
This weather is crazy. Snow one day and the a week later it's in the upper 50s and we're wearing shorts. We enjoyed some time outside and adventures at Henderson Park. Can't wait for spring!
