Happy New Year! As you can see, Shelby is feeling much better these days. She's showing off her new trick - standing up! We discovered this new talent over Christmas. We got her a Leap Frog musical learning table and when we propped her up to play with it, we were shocked to discover that she was pretty darn good at standing up all by herself! Of course, she can't stand up indpendently yet, but if she is leaning on something, she can stand up for as long as you leave her there! She also thinks it's hilarious to let go of the table and fall back into your lap like the game of "trust." She falls backwards and giggles ... it's so cute.
2010 was an amazing year and we can't wait to see what 2011 has in store. I cannot belive Shelby is already nine months old. She will be a year old before we know it. Scott remarked the other day that she is starting to look less like an infant and more like a little person already. That makes me so sad! I can't wait for her to start standing, walking and talking but I also feel like I want her to stay small forever. She's just so squishy and cute and cuddly and yummy right now!

Shelby inspects our old windows and determines that we should get them replaced this year. We were fine freezing with drafty old windows but she will have none of it. We caved and agreed to replace all of our windows with new energy efficient ones this month. Oh, the things we do for this girl!
