Wake up, Daddy!
Donuts... it's becoming a tradition.
We had a nice, relaxing Father's Day. We snuggled in the morning and then went out for donuts and iced coffee... it's becoming a summer staple! Then we bought Dad some new shirts at TJ Maxx (most dad thing ever) and went to lunch. After nap, we headed over to Papa and Glee's house for swimming and a delicious dinner. What a nice day! It was a nice treat to swim... our pool sustained some serious damage from fallen trees during a storm last week and it's closed for at least the next couple of weeks. We're at a loss for things to do now that our main summer activity is gone!
Happy Father's Day to the one who cuts the grass, takes out the trash, scoops the cat box, smooshes the bugs, reads the books, sings the Kermit songs, plays in the pool even when it's really cold, treats us to lunch, lays out the outfits, fixes the cereal, educates about super heroes, and takes care of us in a million little other ways. You're the best!
