Last night, we went to the final night of the Atlanta Botanical Garden's holiday light display. It sprinkled on us a little at the end, but it was a nice night otherwise and the weather was mild. We wanted to go while we were off work, but it was so cold over the break that we never made it. Shelby loved the train displays and she only managed to trample through one bed of pansies! Yes, we were those parents - the ones chasing our toddler who wandered off the path and through a bed of flowers!! I don't think we were the only ones. Today we took down our tree and the last of the holiday decorations - we are officially back to the regular routine. Despite a few moments of Shelby being a "tinky wink" (our word for when she's beig a typical mischievous 2-year-old) it been a great Christmas break! At the beginning of December, we made a list of all the holiday activities we wanted to do and we managed to do all of them - some more than once! We made some great memories last month.
